Her catering company “Thyme to Dine” offers top class catering services from elegant dinner parties to corporate receptions, wedding to graduation and birthday celebrations. Lara Muller's unique understanding of culinary art ensures that every event comes together in a way that exceeds even the highest of expectations.
Before starting out on her own in 2003, Lara worked at many of the top restaurants, hotels and exclusive establishments in and around Cape Town such as The Cellars Hohenort, Blues, Buitenverwachting, Ellerman House and D'ouwe Werf Country Inn in Stellenbosch, generating rave reviews with clients and critics alike.
Lara travelled to the UK where she gained valuable experience working within the Conrad Group, Mezzo and Blue Bird, as well as at the famous 1 Michelin Star restaurant, Putney Bridge.
Back in her native South Africa she was thrilled to be able to share her passion for the culinary arts by lecturing at the internationally recognized and accredited “Silwood School of Cookery” in Rondebosch. Three years later, at the end of 2003 after having also build up Silwoods now well-known catering department, Lara started her own highly successful catering company “Thyme to Dine”.
